APMC Governing Board plans and coordinates club activities through
the year, and since we’re moms and members, too, you will
see us at all the APMC events! This year we have several moms
returning to serve as APMC Governing Board Members – a special
thanks to all of them for their multi-year time and energy.

Profession: I work as a Senior Application Consultant for Kronos. My job is to work with enterprise clients to create online employment applications that include behavioral assessment testing. I also build the system that hiring managers use to hire and onboard new employees. Love about Austin: I grew up in Dallas and I think Austin is the best city in Texas and I wouldn't live anywhere else! Member Outreach Coordinator Favorite kid-free hobby/past-time: Reading the New Yorker, learning how to quilt, working on August's baby blog for our distant family, baking - and if I'm really all by myself an afternoon of window shopping, lunch and a movie. Heaven. Profession/Work Before (or during!) Mommyhood: I was a graphic designer and before that a professional cake decorator and baker. I continue to do both on the side when I have time.
Love about Austin: There are so many things... Austin is very family oriented and laid back. I love that the city continually looks after it's independent businesses and artists. Really great burgers and BBQ. So green and lots of places to swim! Raquel@austinmothers.org

Love about Austin: Endless amount of things to do for all ages, the seemingly 6 degrees of separation (or less) between people, beautiful parks and a lot of them, mild winter seasons, tons of energy yet laid back.
