WHY JOIN

The APMC is the Austin area’s independent, all-Austin moms’ group for women navigating the infant-to-kindergarten years of this amazing, exhausting adventure called motherhood. We can help you make the most of this great town, from field trips to playgroups, while providing a critical link to the outside world during an incredibly intense parenting time. We can help you:

• Learn from moms who have been there…and ARE there now!
• Meet new friends for you AND your kids
• Explore Austin’s fabulous kid-friendly places and spaces
• Take a much-deserved break
  In other words…we invite you and your baby/infant/toddler/preschooler to come Learn, Play and Explore with the APMC!

• Age-appropriate playgroups, most meeting weekly
• Field trips and outings for moms and kids to enjoy together
• Mom’s Night Out, Book Club
• Informative & fun meetings with speakers, social activities, and special programs
• Member outreach in times of need and joy

• Monthly newsletter with club news, plus Austin-based, mom-recommended activities, articles and information
• Club website including updated calendar and resources
• Member directory and online photo gallery
• Club listserv/email list available for asking questions and sharing ideas with other members

HOW TO JOIN

We would love to have you as part of the APMC!

Membership is $30 for one year. Our program year generally starts with the new school year, on or about September 1. We welcome new members any time, and as of March 1, mid-way through the year, our fee to join for the remainder of the program year is reduced to $15.

1. Download and complete a copy of our Membership Application
2. Mail the completed Membership Application plus a check for the membership fee ($30 September 1-February 28 or $15 March 1-August 31) to:

Once we receive your check and completed Membership Application, we will:

• contact you by email to confirm your membership, welcome you to the APMC, and connect you to the playgroups, activities or other members who best match your specific interests
• help you join in the club listserv/email group, and make sure you know what events are coming up soon, so you can get involved as soon as possible AND
• let you know of an upcoming New Member Chat, a casual evening meet-up for new members to meet one another (and current members) and find out more about how to make the most of the APMC.
